Another Caramel Christening

Another Caramel Christening

Way back in 1982 Caroline served the very first 7-Layer Caramel Cake at my christening.   Since then word of mouth has helped to build our cake community and cake family across the country.   We have been so lucky and have, quite literally, been a part of thousands of gatherings, celebrations, birthdays, holidays, and traditions over the years.   It is impossible for me to express my sincere gratitude to all of you for allowing us to continue to bake and ship our delicious cakes for you.   It means the world to me, my family, and our team here at Caroline's Cakes to have the absolute best customers and friends that allow us to continue on Caroline's dream.

Most recently we celebrated the christening of our own little Caroline.   Naturally, we served a 7-Layer Caramel Cake for the occasion and several of my Mom's lifelong friends as well as our family and friends here in Spartanburg were able to attend.   Even as a 5 month old baby, I see a lot of my Mom's kindness in little Caroline.   This kindness was put on full display during the christening when Caroline reached out and held hands with the other child being christened.   It was unbelievable and very touching to see.   "Always be kind!", I could her my Mom saying.

The entire day was a celebration and even though I couldn't let Caroline taste the Caramel icing just yet, I did appreciate her willingness to dive right into the cake!
