Our Father's Day interview series continues with a fantastic chat with Betsy Cribb, the Features Editor with Southern Living. Betsy grew up in Charleston, SC and now lives in Birmingham, AL so we were fairly certain she more than a little bit about classic Caramel, and we were right!

Betsy Cribb-Father's Day Interview

What is one of your favorite traditions or memories with your Dad?

On summer nights, my sisters and I would take turns dancing with my Dad in the driveway. He'd turn on the car headlights and turn up the beach music on the radio. We loved it.

What is something your Father always says? (A catch phrase, a piece of advice, something he was right about! etc.)

If you mind your own business, you'll be busy all the time!

Fill in the blank: If I turn on                   song it immediately brings a smile to my Father/my husband's face.

If I turn on Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu, it immediately brings a smile to my Father's face.

You can't go wrong with cake and a day spent                  ! i.e. What is your Dad's ideal Father's Day family activity?

In the woods or on the water.

What is your Dad actually hoping to receive for Father's Day?

A little peace and quiet-and fish that bite.

We have to ask...what is your Dad's favorite Caroline's Cakes flavor to celebrate with?
