The First Slice: Welcome to the Caroline's Cakes Blog!

As a member of our cake community here at Caroline's Cakes, we strive to show our appreciation to you as our valued customers. To further those efforts and as an active member of the cake community I will be blogging periodically on our site to keep you up to date on all things cake related and other exciting news at Caroline's Cakes. Naturally there will be lots of discussion about our famous 7-Layer Caramel Cake and other fantastic desserts (the NEW Blackberry Lime Cake is my current favorite!), but I want to hear your stories as well.

My mother, Caroline, absolutely loved hearing from all of you throughout the year as you shared stories of your family traditions and travels. You all made her feel like part of your family, just like she thought of all of you as a part of ours. I hope this blog can be a place of celebration and shared excitement for everything in and associated with the world of Caroline's Cakes. Please don't hesitate to reach out with your recipe ideas, serving suggestions, and favorite cake moments. And, just like you would with any great cake, share this blog with your friends!

I’m new to the site but I just sat here and tasted your cake without taking one bite….that is just how good it looks. I bid you great prosperity in your business. I aim to try your cakes very soon.

I can’t wait to try the new Blackberry Lime Cake. I know it will be amazing! The summer rainbow cake and the lemon cake are some of my favorites. In truth I have never met a Caroline’s Cake I don’t love. Happy Memorial Day Weekend to all of you.

    Hi Drew,
So glad that you love our Caramel Cake as much as I do! John Ragsdale was my great Aunt. Her brother, Tommy Ragsdale, was my grandfather and Caroline’s father.

Your caramel cake is the best! By any chance, was your grandmother John Ragsdale from Charleston, S.C.?
