The First Slice: Welcome to the Caroline's Cakes Blog!

As a member of our cake community here at Caroline's Cakes, we strive to show our appreciation to you as our valued customers. To further those efforts and as an active member of the cake community I will be blogging periodically on our site to keep you up to date on all things cake related and other exciting news at Caroline's Cakes. Naturally there will be lots of discussion about our famous 7-Layer Caramel Cake and other fantastic desserts (the NEW Blackberry Lime Cake is my current favorite!), but I want to hear your stories as well.

My mother, Caroline, absolutely loved hearing from all of you throughout the year as you shared stories of your family traditions and travels. You all made her feel like part of your family, just like she thought of all of you as a part of ours. I hope this blog can be a place of celebration and shared excitement for everything in and associated with the world of Caroline's Cakes. Please don't hesitate to reach out with your recipe ideas, serving suggestions, and favorite cake moments. And, just like you would with any great cake, share this blog with your friends!

  • I just finished my first caramel cake. I have always loved caramel cake but your cake was the best caramel cake I have ever had. I purchased the cake at a produce stand and plan to continue to buy more. Also for Christmas this year I plan to purchase directly from Caroline’s Cake for Christmas presents. I can’t wait to try your coconut cake!

  • Hello,
I received a half of Caramel cake and a half of Blackberry Lime. There is not enough cake batter in the cake, more icing than cake the Blackberry was ok. I received my order on time but the icing on both cakes was melted.
I don’t think I will ever order from this company again the cakes were not worth the price, or the shipping fee.

  • My husband passed away in 2016, so I now live alone. I still miss him so very much and sometimes I treat myself to a slice bought at Ballews Produce. I know they are worth the cost, but I can not afford a whole cake and certainly don’t need a whole one for just me. Thank you for making it possible for folks like to me to enjoy your cakes one slice at a time.

  • I’m new to the site but I just sat here and tasted your cake without taking one bite….that is just how good it looks. I bid you great prosperity in your business. I aim to try your cakes very soon.
