Ready, set, celebrate! School is out, the pool is open, the days are hotter, and everybody is happy! Summer at the bakery means slow cooked BBQ, and the smell of tangy pepper and vinegar sauce, baked beans, marinated coleslaw, and our favorite summer cakes!
We used to spend summers on Mullet Lake in Michigan and would ship up our BBQ Party to enjoy with friends after an early evening cocktail cruise on the Chris Craft. It's hard to beat the cool summer climate of a Michigan summer and even though the lake waters were frigid, they were incredibly refreshing!
