The Greatest 2 Minutes in Dessert

The Kentucky Derby is referred to as 'The greatest 2 minutes in sports', and for good reason. The excitement around derby day in the sports world is incredible and it also presents a great opportunity to gather with friends and family, eat delicious food, carry out your favorite traditions, and cheer your favorite horse to victory! Our friends at Pappy & Co.  hosted the ultimate Kentucky Derby party and were kind enough to serve our classic 7-Layer Caramel Cake, our NEW Pink Champagne Cake, and our 7-Layer Mint Cake to their family and friends.

I first met the team from Pappy & Co. at the Charleston Wine & Food Festival several years ago and we became fast friends. Inspired by the legacy of their great-grandfather Pappy Van Winkle, Louise, Carrie and Chenault founded and built a wonderful business that, like Caroline's Cakes, honors the legacy of their family and celebrates the art of entertaining.
